Laura Allen Teaching offers a range of tailored classes, including piano, singing, acting and audition technique and grade 5 music theory. In addition to instrumental lessons, Laura also provides vocal training, acting classes, and audition technique coaching for drama school applications. Laura's classes are tailored to each student's individual needs and skill level, ensuring that every student receives the attention and guidance they need to succeed. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned professional, Laura works with each student to get the best out of every individual. Laura is exceedingly proud of her 100% success rate for music student exams with ABRSM and Trinity. Acting students have gained places at top drama schools including Arts Ed, American Academy of Dramatic Art, and National Youth Theatre.
Meet Laura
Laura Allen is a professional actress, director and choreographer who has been coaching students of all ages in music and acting for the past 20 years.
She has worked extensively in theatre and on screen, and trained professionally at the Guildford School of Acting.
Having a wealth of knowledge both in front of, and behind, the stage and screen, Laura teaches privately and at drama schools, sitting on auditions panels and producing her own work. She specialises in musical theatre and Shakespeare, and her love of the piano has built her a reputation for getting the best out of musicians - whether gaining a grade certificate or just the enjoyment of playing.
Laura's passion for music and performance has driven her to create a unique learning experience that enables students to achieve their full potential - while having fun at the same time!
